Our Deacons and Deaconess
About our Deacons: We believe that Jesus lived a servant lifestyle. At Revolution, we desire to submit to God’s word as our full authority with Christ as our head. The Biblical example is to appoint Deacons who are godly individuals to serve and meet the needs of Jesus’ church (Philippians 1:1, and 1 Timothy 3:8, 12). We have appointed and confirmed deacons who meet the biblical qualification of deacon. They are responsible for ensuring we are maintaining a healthy church by helping minister and meet the needs within our body.
Elsie
Ritt
Elsie started her adventure with Jesus when she was 14 years old. Her story has brought her all across America from the east coast all the way to Hawaii. She has known God by her side through many joys and sorrows. She was widowed at age 27 and remarried once God brought Jeff into her life. They have been married since 1986. Together they have 6 kids, 11 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren plus too many in-laws to count. Elsie has served the local church, faithfully, in some capacity since her salvation experience. She has served in women’s ministry, organized women’s retreats, children's and youth ministry and, served as head deaconess. She and Jeff found their way to Revolution Church in the early phases of the church plant. They have served together in couples ministry and continue to mentor younger couples as they too walk out their faith in Jesus. In her spare time, you can find Elsie spending time with her family, serving others, or napping during the Packer game.
Brett grew up in the Sheboygan area and was raised by God fearing parents. After high school, he volunteered to work with the youth group as a youth leader at Southside Alliance Church from 2001-2003. During this time he planned youth group functions, created games and group activities and worked the sound booth. He married his girlfriend and long time friend in 2006. After they were married they began to search for a new church. Not finding any connections in churches they visited over the next few years, they started going to Revolution Church in 2012. Both Rachel and Brett felt real connections with the church body at Revolution Church. They felt like they were part of a family and were thrilled to be a part of it. Brett is now a deacon and Rachel helps in many areas in the church body making meals, helping at Sunday service, organizing church events. Brett enjoys chilling with his wife, Rachel, and their two daughters, Hayley and Melanie, working on cars, talking about cars, cruising in cars, yelling at the Packers while they play and working on his hobby farm.
