It's a common human desire to see life through the lens of our own desires. We curate our online presence with filtered images, select news sources that align with our views, and seek out opinions that mirror our own. However, this selective exposure can lead to a distorted understanding of reality, including our perception of God. We tend to mold our beliefs about Him to suit our desires or to conform to social norms. Yet, Jesus came to reveal the genuine nature of God and His intentions for humanity, which may challenge preconceived notions.
In this second installment of the series, we strive to cut through the worldly perceptions surrounding Jesus and the essence of discipleship. We adopt a playful approach, drawing parallels to memes as vehicles for humor, rhetorical tools, and conduits of misinformation, in order to dispel common misunderstandings and bring clear truth through the things Jesus actually did say.
