Church membership conjures many different connotations for those looking to connect to the church.  To some church membership is a statement of allegiance to a church.  To others it is a rite of passage, which includes first communion and confirmation.  Others think it simply means you get to vote on major decisions within the church.  If you’re like I was you may think that church membership just isn’t important.  To my surprise the bible implies much about the important of local church involvement and even church membership.
